#44 Reviving a dead YouTube channel from 30 to 1000 subscribers
Month 1: +37 subs. The next 15 days: 1000
I just published the SaaS Youtube revival strategy.
Most SaaS companies have one: a dusty YouTube channel sitting in a corner, with a handful of subscribers and no views.
I just helped a SaaS revive theirs - a two year old channel with 30 subscribers.
After a full month of work, we had only gained 37 new subscribers. It felt like a failure. But that failure gave us the exact insights we needed.
Armed with that data, we pivoted the strategy. The channel exploded, going from 67 to over 1,000 subscribers in the next 15 days generating over 775,000 views in the process.
In today’s post, I'm sharing the full behind-the-scenes story, from the initial slow grind to the explosive growth, including:
The Low Effort, High Value Shorts formula we used.
The data that proves we're attracting the right ICP (25-45).
The two-pronged strategy for reach vs. resonance.
